Memorial Day Weekend

I hope everyone had a great Memorial Day weekend.  I had a friend in town & the weather was beautiful, so we hit the beach!

While we were there, we met a girl with THE BIGGEST dog I've ever seen!  His name is Oliver & he's awesome!

This picture doesn't really do him justice!  He's 240 lbs & only 2 years old!  That's his human standing next to him.  Isn't he great?

bigdog2.JPGWith it being a holiday weekend, the beach was quite crowded.  We rode around for a long time before we found a place to park.  After we staked out our place on the sand, we were quickly surrounded by other sunbathers.

I was enjoying the sights and sounds of the ocean, when this guy plopped down and obstructed my view!

yikes1.JPGAnd to make matters worse, he was sitting spread eagle right in front of children building a sand castle!

It was quite scary, but very hilarious!  Too bad I didn't have this pic in time for Katey's 200th post contest!  I would have won hands down!  Hope everybody has a great weekend!
